Local Unit & Position Description:
DNV - Energy Systems division is seeking a Technical Intern to join their team and support their engineers.

This position will be based out of our Rochester, NY office.

What You'll Do:

Battery Life Cycle Testing (includes set-up of cells in compression fixtures, electrical connections, cycler programming, monitoring)

Battery Burn Testing

Battery & Inverter System testing

Position Qualifications:
What is Required

College courses in a relevant discipline (Engineering) required

Electro-Mechanical skills (set-up, troubleshoot equipment)

Experience with electrical wiring, electronics, electrical test equipment

Some experience within the following areas:

Electrical testing

Systems testing

Burn testing

Safety testing

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Able to perform physical duties in a lab

Strong written and verbal English communication skills

We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening

What is Preferred

Related battery, fuel cell or inverter testing experience

Experience with lab-view programming

Knowledge of system communication & CANBUS protocols

Data acquisition systems

Troubleshoot high voltage test equipment
