Job description
Clinician/Therapist - Behavioral Health
Full-time Clinician/Therapist working with adults in an Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic program; Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00 pm in a clinic setting; no evenings, weekends, or on-call.

Qualifications:
· Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, Psychology.
· LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT required.
· NYS Licensure is required, however limited permit or limited permit eligible candidates may be considered. Unlicensed/pre-licensed staff must have plan to be licensed within a period of time approved by Circare. Clinicians/therapists will be supervised in accordance with NYS Office of Professions licensure requirements.
· Proficiency with computers and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) or Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
· Experience with clinical record keeping.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Experience with providing telemental health services preferred.
· Experience with substance use/addictions treatment preferred.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clinicians will perform the essential duties of an outpatient behavioral health therapist, including but not limited to comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, risk assessment, treatment planning, clinical documentation, referrals, crisis intervention, safety planning, psychoeducation, and evidence based clinical interventions.
· Clinicians will provide clinical services in accordance with the NYS OMH regulations and standards of care.
· Clinicians will carry a caseload consistent with Circare Clinic productivity standards.
- Clinicians will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to address the complex needs of our clientele.
