Duration: Direct Hire
Location: Concord, NC (may be flexible)

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with proven experience on the full capability of Microsoft Dynamics 365 application with emphasis on Finance and Operations (Supply Chain) for our client. Must have the ability to work with multiple teams of technical and business SMEs to provide support and lead teams to the utilization of Microsoft Dynamics to its full capacity. Acts as the liaison between business units and IT departments. Completes business cases in support of projects. Participates in or facilitates requirements definition, business process modeling, and research efforts. Acts as a consultant to business partners and customers. Defines, evaluates, and helps to manage projects for the IT department on time, on budget, and with quality execution.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as a liaison between IT and business units:
- Provides a single point of contact for business units into IT and acts as a conduit between the business partners and customers
- Makes recommendations for product and system enhancements for all business applications including MS Dynamics 365 FO
- Manages business unit and customer expectations of IT
- Participates in business process modeling and requirement definition sessions, acting as a documentarian, innovator, co-facilitator, facilitator, or subject matter expert
- Conducts interviews and performs analysis in order to create business cases for projects
- Conducts preliminary investigation for all project requests. Reviews and develops requirements, specifications, test, support, and training plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives on projects
- Participates in Business Process Management group efforts to collect and analyze metrics and continually improve processes owned by the group
- Participates in root cause analysis in order to recommend product enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity for both the business units and IT
- Tests and provide feedback for new product and services
- Provides ongoing systems/technical training to the business as required
- Provides support to identity and document system deficiencies and recommend solutions
- Provide weekly and ad hoc project reports that aid management decisions
- Develop and maintain SOPs for business systems as required
- BS in Business or Computer Science or equivalent certifications
- 3-7 years of experience in systems development and implementation and general business analysis, business operations, financial applications, and project management experience
- 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft D365 FO implementation and/or support
- Demonstrated expertise with both SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Requires analytical, facilitation, business process mapping, and negotiation skills, as well as know-how in data process modeling
- Agile or package implementation experienced is desired
- Good understanding of IT Infrastructure and Application Development techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite of products
- Good knowledge of service management practices and techniques - ITIL a plus
- Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge in a timely manner and for the appropriate task
- Ability to work successfully in a high volume, technically demanding job
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal and customer service skills
- Must be available after hours to assist as necessary
