We have a great opportunity to join the GBAM Operations Tax and Control team; which manage the operational tax responsibilities arising from activity of our GBAM clients. This role is within the Global Banking Tax Operations group and will be responsible for the execution tax processes and controls as well as for the business process design, business analysis, and project management activities arising from teams responsibilities.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Provides analytical and process design support in a GBAM tax operations function for one or more operations product areas.
Responsible for the analysis and resolution of complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exceptional handling and/or coordination of multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve.
May manage projects and/or the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes, coordinating necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and/or products.
Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed from them.
Partner closely with control and governance organizations.
Qualifications:
Ability to negotiate and influence within and outside the organization.
Demonstrated work experience in financial services areas of global banking or markets operations.
Solid data collection, analysis, and reporting skills
Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, with emphasis on Excel (macros, pivot tables, look-ups, and filtering) and PowerPoint skills.
Highly organized, motivated, team-player, intellectually curious and able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
Demonstrated process design skills.
