**Location/Division Specific Information**

High Point, NC / Softgels / Pharma Services ​C

**How you will make an impact**

Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to suppliers to support production requirements. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials to support production.

**What you will do**

+ Analyze raw material requirements and implement appropriate inventory & purchasing strategies

+ Maintain purchasing master data information for raw materials in SAP

+ Provide raw material forecasts to suppliers

+ Work with cross functional groups to expedite release of materials needed to support the production schedule

+ Monitor expired, obsolete and rejected materials to avoid impact to the production schedule.

+ Manage material transfers to support production and minimize material obsolescence.

+ Support the Strategic Sourcing Specialist and Procurement Manager in applicable tasks.

+ Improve efficiencies of raw material flow to the production areas.

+ Support commercial projects and technical transfer projects.

+ Manage consignment (settlement), expiry and raw material reports.

+ Develop and maintain KPI's relevant to planning.

+ Provide support for receiving raw material issues and challenges.

+ Participate in cost-saving initiatives

**How you will get here**

**Minimum Requirements :**

+ Four year college degree from an accredited university/college in business or science is preferred; High School Diploma/GED is required

+ 3-5 years of purchasing/procurement, planning/scheduling or supply chain experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment is preferred, but not limited to

+ ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, Ariba, etc.).

**Proficiencies :**

+ Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) and technical writing experience.

+ Well-organized, self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal direction.

+ Able to articulate complex scenarios and convey information to management.

+ Excellent interpersonal, analytical/problem solving and communication skills (both oral and written).

+ Results oriented and able to effectively work well with others.

+ Able to prioritize tasks and meet timelines.

+ Effective teamwork skills.

+ Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

+ Experience with ERP system (SAP, ARIBA, etc.).

+ Microsoft excel and data reporting skills.
