We are currently looking for a Director of Learning & Development to lead talent development for our corporate office in Winston-Salem NC. This position reports to the VP of Talent & Diversity and will be responsible for building scalable talent solutions that build capability and strengthen our pipeline of top talent as we grow the business. The selected candidate will be an innovative and inspiring leader with demonstrated expertise planning and executing Learning & Development strategy for employees and leaders.   • Lead the design, development and implementation of a global Learning & Development strategy to support the employee experience and build a culture of continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders and HR team members to ensure existing and new talent can reach their full potential and grow their HBI careers.
  • Support the integration and implementation of learning initiatives that close critical skill gaps, diversify our talent pipeline, and support the philosophy of managers as coaches.
  • Leverage Learning Management System and appropriate delivery technologies to address specific learning needs and organizational performance.
  • Identify, develop, and manage toward a set of KPIs to measure efficacy of learning and development programs and initiatives; use data to drive continuous improvement of programs and processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, Learning and Development and/or Organization Development. Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience designing and implementing employee and leadership development programs inclusive of talent identification and high-potential development
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience directly managing a Learning & Development team
  • Proven track record designing and delivering experiential learning programs to include e-Learning, gamification, instructor-led and virtual instruction
  • Demonstrated knowledge of learning and development principles including familiarity with instructional design, technology-based learning, adult learning theory, competency-based skill development, program evaluation and change management
  • Relationship builder who can influence across all levels, functions and cultures
  • Client-service oriented with strong critical thinking, communication, and conflict resolution skills
