Position Overview:

The Investment Research Associate supports CAPTRUST's Manager Research team with a variety of research activities and related tasks. The Associate will primarily be responsible for the quarterly investment manager processes, management of our research notes, and special projects across equities, fixed income, and alternatives as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and enhance the quarterly research process
  • Assist with the input, editing, and entry of research notes and investment strategy commentaries into our CRM
  • Create performance reports and presentations for the firm's recommended investment strategies
  • Attend investment manager meetings across all asset classes and write up recaps for the firm's internal blog
  • Address ad hoc advisor and client solutions team requests for investment manager research insights

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics, or accounting and 0-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Excellent ability to consistently produce accurate, concise, respectful, and easy to understand verbal and written communications conveying complex information
