Our client is seeking an Oracle JD Edwards ERP Business Analyst to work at their location in Raleigh, NC. This is a permanent opportunity with our client.
Our client is looking for an Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Analyst to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and implementing ERP requirements and day to day operation support with the objective of improving the efficiency in how the business utilizes product. Role requires a robust understanding of JDE product functionality and technically to effectively interact and guide end user community in identifying process and mapping Business operations from gaps or problems to reusable complete end-to-end solutions. This position will interact with the infrastructure, vendor, customer and/or business partner and stakeholder teams to drive solutions through delivery within overall system strategy and standardization. Role to provide thought out solution options with recommendation to solve various business requirements. Role to be resourceful and confident to find alignment of solution with stakeholders through effective communication and presentation of solution walk-through. Role will engage senior level decision makers to show business value and process. Role will need to ensure completion of full life cycle for solution including cut-over activities and day to day support of functionality in production.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides functional and technical support and enhancement of JDE environment.
- Work as the liaise between internal JDE clients and support team members.
- Act as the Business Analyst and Subject Matter Expert for JDE in
- Order to Shipment (Customer EDI, Sales Order Entry/Customer Service, Inventory, Pricing, Transportation, Pick, Pack, Ship)
- Plan To Produce (Product Data Management for Item, Formula, Routing, Planning / Scheduling, Shop Floor Execution / Reporting, Costing / Manufacturing Accounting)
- Finance (AR -Cash App, Credit Collection, AP -Voucher Match, Payments, GL -Structure/Chart, Companies, GL -Transactions, Reporting, Close, Fixed Assets)
- Procure to Receipt (Stock Procurement, Supplier/Item Pricing and Contracts, Approvals) modules in JDE by performing design, configuration, testing, and end user training.
- Troubleshoot, administer, configure, upgrade, test and support current system programs and applications.
- Create and maintain clear functional and technical requirements, specifications, testing, and training documentation for both existing and new solutions.
- Develop and maintain new business applications, reports, and interfaces within JDE.
- Develop or assist with new custom reports when needed.
- Analyze business systems and procedures as well as break down solution or data into manageable components.
- Keep up to date with all new JDE updates and advancements.
- Recommend new changes and design elements to the infrastructure to improve performance and reliability.
- Communicate regularly with all levels of the organization to ensure constant communication and delivery of user and business needs.
- Recommend enhancements that reduce costs.
- Define functional and technical implementation plans.
- Ensure execution excellence solution lifecycles using formal tools and best practices for organizing work assignments, ensure testing validations, establishing deadlines, and monitoring progress
- Provide after-hours and on-call support to all high level, escalated IT Helpdesk issues.

- Strong communication and influencing skills - oral, written, listening, executive presentations. Exceptional written verbal and presentation skills to a diverse set of audiences.
- Execution and delivery focus within company ERP modules and functions as well as business process and strategy.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and translate emerging trends, future visions, and strategies into executable action planning that align to the current state architecture and business environment.
- Ability to consider upstream and downstream process impacts and implications.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage competing priorities
- Experience with both JDE World and EnterpriseOne.
- Experience with Data Access Studio and ReportNow.
Additional Notes
Experience with AS400/iSeries/RPG support is a plus
