Description:
Saussy Burbank is a residential homebuilder specializing in quality homes and craftsmanship in the Charleston, SC; Raleigh, NC and Charlotte, NC areas. Positions are available working on the Saussy Burbank Team in the Raleigh, NC office.
Education requirements are recent college graduates or students currently pursuing a degree in accounting, business, construction or related field(s).
The primary function of this position is assisting the Director of Preconstruction Services to ensure upcoming projects are completed timely. Candidates will have an active role in the following areas:
Architectural assistance with new plan development, creating landscape plans, renderings, development plans and other architectural and marketing related documents.
Pre-construction process with specific duties that will include assisting with architectural development, preparing job starts complete with required approvals, building permit process, creating purchase orders and maintenance of builder software system.
Cost analysis with specific duties that will include preparing project cost budgets, variance analysis, estimating, quantity tracking, value engineer architectural plans, review truss drawings.
Vendor relations with specific duties that will provide support to Saussy Burbank field supervisors, meeting vendors and manufacturers, problem solving with vendors, vendor contracts, scopes of work, specifications, bid requests, bid comparisons.

Required Skills:
Good written and verbal communication, good customer service skills, strong PC and specifically Microsoft Excel skills, ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings, strong problem solving and analytical skills. Computer skills - Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
