We offer highly creative solutions for businesses that just don't have the time or knowledge to leverage their social media channels to a level that benefits them or their followers. Killing it Social deals with the majority of our clients via online communications, therefore we work from home, or local coffee shops or occasionally while sitting on the beach!Responsibilities Your day-to-day (as a top notch Social Media Sales Rep, you'll): Discover new business clients with a need for new social media services or a "re-vamp" of their existing new media accountsAbility to locate new business owners, through social media sources such as Yelp, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.Find new businesses through cold calling and leveraging your networks.Understand social media pain points for business and sell a prospective client on how Killing it Social can provide solutions to helpQualify prospective clients for servicesRun face-to-face meetings selling social media services to business owners if business is local.Communicating via phone and email to prospective clients outside the local area.Go beyond the chase to cultivate prospects into paying clientsRoll up your sleeves and work with our market intelligence team to understand your prospect's business challengesDevise and pitch sale proposals that speak to client needs, and get them to say "yes"Deliver outstanding customer sales experience to clients.Qualifications What does it take to do this job?Passionate about all areas of social media and all its advantages for businessesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment where your hard work will be rewarded2+ years' experience in marketing/advertising sales - specifically internet-based media productsProficiency in structuring and closing complex deals with multiple variablesStrong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills (People like you. Listen to you. And trust you!)Strategic, sophisticated deal planning and negotiationTrack record of success in a start-up or fast-growth environment a major plusManiacal self-motivation and time management and personal accountabilityCollaborative, team-player sensibilities, yet an ability to perform independentlyA degree is not required since this hiring and compensation for this position will be based on current skill and merit and proven abilities.B2B sales experience is a plusAccess to a computerWe reward for excellent performance!
