Summary:
The Supervisor Patient Food Service supervises and monitors all patient systems related to patient feeding.
Responsibilities:
1.Adds value as a key member of management; understands the business, financials, industry, customers and strategy.
2.Supervises employees, provides direction, coaches, trains and develops, and manages performance to company goals and expectations.
3.Prepares, manages, and adheres to department budget to maintain expenditure controls.
4.Develops and monitors patient food and formula delivery systems.
5.Responsible for the planning, preparation, and serving of all food and formula for patients, cafeteria and catered feeding.
6.Monitors and enforces standards of quality, sanitation, and safety.
7.Human Resources Management: Demonstrates the skills associated with efficient management of human resources.
8.General Management Responsibilities: Carries out the leadership and administrative responsibilities of management in an accurate, timely and results oriented manner.
9.Other duties as required.
Other information:
Technical Expertise
1.Experience in Food Service Management is required.
2.Experience in Nutrition is required
3.Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
4.Experience in healthcare is preferred.
5.Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. Knowledge of CBORD software is preferred.
Education and Experience
1.Education: Bachelor's degree in Dietetics is required; Master's degree is preferred.
2.Certification: Registered Dietetic Technician or Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian in the State of Ohio is required.
3.ServSafe Certification is preferred.
4.Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.
5.Years of experience supervising: 0 to 2 years is preferred.
