We need a talented individual to fill the role of Projects Engineer for Greentree's commercial IT managed services offerings in Beavercreek, OH. The service is called Back To Business I.T. In this position, the ideal candidate will possess a seasoned IT Engineer skillset. Support tasks which require onsite presence will be at the forefront of this position. Typical onsite tasks will include: Server, Workstation and Network Appliance configuration and deployment/migrations, Disaster Recovery/Backup solution implementation, Email service migrations, MFA, Cybersecurity training and IDS/IPS implementations, Network assessments, as well as general support and maintenance of IT infrastructure and associate environments. The candidate will require the ability to manage their time and resources effectively, document their work in detail and account for their time accurately.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related area and a minimum of five years' experience.
  • Three to five years of recent experience with setup and administration of Windows 2012/2016/2019 Server, Infrastructure services, Exchange 2013/2016/2019, Microsoft 365, Windows 10, MS Office suite, Active Directory/DHCP/DNS/GPO management, Antivirus management and disaster recovery/backup management.
  • Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience of the following: Servers, Routers, Firewalls, Switches, storage, backup appliances and wireless solutions.
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Ability to effectively utilize available resources to learn and progress through unfamiliar medium.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written/oral communication skills.
  • Local travel will be required.
  • Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.

    • SQL 2012/2016/2019
    • Microsoft Exchange 2013/2016/2019, Microsoft 365, SharePoint.
    • Firewalls, VPN routing, Network switches, Routers
    • Wireless solutions
    • Storage appliances (SAN, NAS)
    • Backup Services and Appliances
    • Hypervisors - VMware and Hyper-V
    • NIST/CMMC Competency
    • Linux Server Operating Systems
    • IDS/IPS Solutions
    • MFA Services
    • Voice Solutions
    • Help desk support, remote management and troubleshooting skills.
  • Certifications preferred:
    • CompTIA
    • A+
    • N+
    • Microsoft MCSA.
