Job description

Accounts Payable duties include:

* Processing high volume of invoices in the Accounting software.
* Reconcile vendor statements and contacting vendors when needed.
* Research duplicate payments and return payments.
* Coordinating with multiple Project Managers regarding problem invoices and troubleshooting.
* Establishing and maintaining working relationships with multiple vendors.
* Cost coding mail.
* Must be detail oriented and self-motivated along with performing effectively and confidently, without much supervision.
* Assisting in the rotation for the receptionist phone coverage.
* Must be able to meet deadlines.
* Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

* Minimum 2-4 years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
* Must be extremely organized to manage the high volume of invoices.
* Knowledge/experience within a mechanical contracting firm a plus.
* Excellent proficiency in Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office software applications.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and able to interact with all levels of the organization with a positive, engaging, proactive and team based style.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, team player attitude and professional appearance are a must.
* Strong work ethic.
* Occasional overtime is required.
