Job Description: The Associate Client Relationship Manager (ACRM) supports the Firm's business objectives and contributes to the Market's profitability and revenue growth by helping to meet the service expectations of our clients while also balancing risk and exposure to the firm. The ACRM partners with the Market Client Relationship Manager to serve client needs, protect the firm, and grow the business by proactively managing the client experience across the Market. This is a role in which the associates will learn and understand the tasks and responsibilities before taking over a full Client Relationship Manager (CRM) role. The Associate Client Relationship Manager (ACRM) is a direct report to the Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Market Executive (MLWM ME) with dual reporting to the Division Client Relationship Executive (DCRE). The ACRM functions as a member of the market leadership team. The ACRM partners with the Market Client Relationship Manager in managing the Client Associates, Service Support Staff and the market's Operations functions where responsibilities include Funds/Securities Receipt & Processing, Wire & Order and Trade Corrections, and Document Control where the review and approval of all Client Financial transactions takes place. Additionally, the ACRM role will participate in the overall delivery and management of the client service experience for the Market. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Promote the satisfaction of client service expectations while balancing the risk and exposure for Merrill Lynch. Once Licensed, review and approve client documents and transactions as delegated by the Office Management Team (OMT). Participate in the management and training & development of the market's Client Associates and Service Support Staff. Develop an understanding of and exposure to a variety of topics including: ML Products & Services, trend analysis, risk assessment, Human Resources and broad Industry Knowledge. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, client centric individual who has or is able to obtain in a specified timeframe: Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE, Series 7 Topper, Series 66, 9, 10 Licenses, or their equivalents (Required). If unlicensed, must pass the AP Reasoning Assessment. Strong client service and communication skills. Minimum 3 - 5 years financial services experience required. Knowledge of regulatory, supervisory and corporate policies and procedures. Investment product knowledge (i.e., 401K, Options, Annuities, Tax, Retirement Plans, Money Funds, Mutual Funds, Liabilities, Margin, Trust Operations, etc.). Good organizational skills, including the ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize tasks. Previous experience managing a team of at least 10 including the ability to monitor, influence, negotiate, supervise and delegate a plus. Strongly preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. The Associate OMT program is highly selective and consists of two new hire classes annually. If selected, new hires will join the Program in October 2021. Shift: 1st shift (United States of America). Hours Per Week: 40
