JOIN THE 2022 FIS UNIVERSITY SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM!

As a 2022 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars, and work alongside team mentors. This is a full-time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 6, 2022 and concludes on August 12, 2022.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Global Network Portfolio Management orders and audits the connectivity that supports the global network. We work directly with Client Engineering, Enterprise Engineering, and client representatives regarding connectivity-related projects. The team is responsible for the auditing of our active connectivity against our telecom expense and rebill. We document the network for ease of support and future enhancements. We also review processes for possible improvements in support and visibility. This team has a unique view into the framework of a network, as we represent the beginning, and we interact with many other teams at a project level.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

- You will attend client-facing meetings and participate in client implementations
- Hone your spreadsheet skills by building functional audit plans in excel
- Breakeven analysis that you create will be reviewed by upper management as part of project feasibility studies
- You will work with experienced engineers in vetting connectivity and working with telecom vendors
- Documentation will become a key event in your day
- You will also participate in enterprise initiatives as it relates to global connectivity

WHAT YOU BRING

- Rising Senior (graduating December 2022 through May 2023)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated and a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
