How You'll Make an Impact
The primary job of the Lab Technician is to test raw material and product samples and enter into VLims. Once samples are completed, you will communicate to the team regarding the results. Additionally, the Lab Technician is responsible for calibrating testing equipment and making minor equipment adjustments and repairs. In the role, you would be responsible for:

  • Performing testing on raw materials and finished blended product
  • Performing testing on samples from production lines
  • Documenting test results in VLims
  • Calibrating testing equipment
  • Calculating blend adjustments and communicating to team
  • Handling retain samples, including pouring up at times
  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion
What You'll Need
  • Associates Degree in science
  • Minimum one year of experience in a lab environment
  • Knowledge of chemistry, detail oriented, timely and accurate in work, self starter
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
