Experienced Maintenance Supervisor - Manufacturing
Mariemont Location - 1st Shift

Cincinnati Gearing Systems is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Mariemont location. In this position you would be responsible for the supervision and daily operations of all machinery and equipment, and facilities maintenance activities. You would work alongside subordinate maintenance technicians on equipment maintenance, repair, rebuild, and relocation.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preplanning of maintenance work, rebuild work, and relocation.
  • Sets preventive maintenance schedules and duties for each major machine in order to accomplish preventive maintenance with minimal production disruption.
  • Assigns work to personnel based on capabilities. Determines and recommends training needs among subordinates.
  • Schedules outside maintenance services and controls cost of maintenance subcontracting.
  • Enforces company standards of conduct, work instructions, and policies while maintaining morale among subordinates. Makes hiring and disciplinary recommendations, recommends wage increases, and conducts performance evaluations.
  • Follow and adhere to prescribed safety regulations and procedures.
  • Keeps work records, machine maintenance and repair records, maintenance parts inventories, and performs other administrative work.
  • Work from hydraulic and lubrication drawings and diagrams and sketches, machine manuals, and plant layout information to plan and work out details in proper sequence and determine tool and material requirements.
  • Diagnose and repair machine and equipment problems, tear down and replace defective parts and mechanisms.
  • Install and wire 3-phase and 1-phase power systems for machines, building and grounds.
  • Trouble-shoot relay logic and motor control circuits. Interpret diagrams. Use electrical test equipment like analog and digital meters, AMP clamps and others to find and repair trouble.
  • Maintain general work areas and/or equipment used in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Having own hand tools is preferred.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
