Job description

Performs routine and complex laboratory analyses, identifies and corrects problems with in the scope of training and education. Stays current in laboratory theory and techniques, and assumes responsibility for problem solving. Requires exercise of independent judgment and interpretation. Works under the supervision of the manager and the technical guidance of the lead technologist.

EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED AND/OR TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

Vocational/Technical Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science required

2 year/ Associates Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science preferred

MLT Certification or eligible

Must be familiar with laboratory terminology, able to read and comprehend written information and have keyboarding skills.

Laboratory experience preferred
