We are seeking a highly motivated Transport Scheduler to be based in Cincinnati, OH. The Transport Scheduler is responsible for managing all the transport requirements related to customer deliveries, returns and the movement of fleet.

Customer Service and Building the Best Teams

* Ensuring that all activities are performed in mind with the best customer experience possible
* Working with other schedulers (labor / fuel / equipment) and customer service reps to ensure all activities are coordinated together and provide the customer with optimized activity coordination
* Quality and timely communication with Customer Service Reps to ensure they are kept informed of delivery / collection times and any changes or issues

Key Role Activities

* Ordering vehicles to deliver and collect hires as they are required
* Acts daily having safety as key priority for our business, employees, customers and contractors
* Responsible for quality and timely communication with Customer Service Reps and Operations Teams to ensure they are up to date with delivery / collections logistics, time and changes throughout the process
* The creation of cost efficient, sensible and optimized transport plans
* Managing transport requirements in line with the most efficient hauler agreements and managing in line with vendor agreements
* Keep and maintain records of the transport movements and costs
* Checking the transport rates from haulers against charges made to ensure consistency and correct pricing
* Ensure filing of all relevant documentation is kept up to date
* Ensure all price and cost data is recorded for logistics performance analysis
* Ensure Aggreko always get the best value for money and service from its haulers by:
* Questioning waiting time and ensuring any rechargeable time is billed on
* Rejecting over charges where not justified
* Communicating with drivers / haulers to notify customers Service Reps of delivery times / changes

* Ensure additional haulage costs are captured on the agreement and liaise with Customer Service Rep for customer communication and acceptance of charges
* Ultimately, achieving the budgeted Freight Recovery by executing the role as efficient and effective as possible
* Enforcing the safety standards in line with Aggreko Safety standards to ensure the highest standards at all times.
* Use the appropriate system for decision making purposes
* Responsible for scheduling weekly inventory cycle counts
* Partner with local operations management to properly monitor and manage all rental parts - Cable, Duct, Hose, Breakers
* Responsible for data entry of during monthly rental parts inventory counts.

Intercompany related activities

* Organization of transport for all inter-company equipment movements; making efficient use of consolidated and back loads to improve vehicle utilization
* Co-ordination of transport movements of the hire-fleet between regions and their depots
* Ensure the necessary customs and cross border documentation is obtained
* Processing of purchase orders, invoicing, and cost reallocation for all inter-company movements

Contract and Vendor management

* Ensuring that 3rd party providers are fully compliant with all Customer and Aggreko safety standards
* Execution of carriage recovery on a contract by contract basis to ensure full recovery by Aggreko
* Escalation of Vendor / supplier failures
* Directly liaise with transport, freight, and ferry companies under the terms of agreed vendor contracts

QHSEE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Energy)

* Drive forward QHSEEn and Sustainability within North America to make measurable improvements across a range of key leading and lagging performance indicators (refer to the annual QHSEEn Targets and Objections and regular QHSEEn reports)
* Contribute towards the QHSEEn culture by showing the required behaviors and values that drive continuous improvement and a sustainable workplace
* Act like an owner by being responsible and accountable for QHSEEn compliance and demonstrating knowledge and commitment to QHSEEn Management System requirements
* Understand and effectively manage any QHSEEn risks associated with our activities and operations in a timely manner
