Memory Care Assistant

Pleasant Lake Villa is seeking compassionate caring individuals to work on our newly established Memory Care Unit. We are looking for fulltime and part time. This individual will work closely with residents that have dementia, Alzheimer's, and other memory care issues.
Summary
The primary purpose of the Activities Assistant position is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by the Activities Director.
Experience and Education
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.MEPAP certification & STNA experience preferredPrevious experience preferred in long term care or assisted living with skills that include: daily documentation, care planning, using Point Click Care, completing PELI's & writing in Activities NewslettersWhy Legacy Health Services?
