Front Desk Receptionist/Patient Coordinator

Are you an experienced patient coordinator looking for an opportunity to grow professionally with an expanding dental organization? If so, then you might be a perfect candidate for front desk receptionist/patient coordinator at one of our practices!

The primary role of the Front Desk Receptionist/Patient Coordinator is to manage the doctor's schedules by supervising the patient experience beginning with the initial new patient telephone conversation and ending with scheduling patients recommended treatment. It is important that the Patient Coordinator embodies the core values of the practice by:

  • Making patients know we care about their needs and have the competence to provide quality dental care that is both gentle and convenient
  • Creating a supportive, collaborative, and enriching environment for dentists, hygienists, and staff.

REQUIREMENTS

Dental office experience is a substantial plus, but a quick learner with with drive, excellent people skills and passion for service will be considered. If not experienced in a dental office, we will consider those with a strong service, retail or hospitality background - anyone that knows the value of service and the energy needed to ensure excellent patient health outcomes.

REQUIRED: Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one or more years in a customer service role.

DESIRABLE: One or more years experience working in a dental office either in the front office or as a Dental Assistant.

Dentrix or Ascend Experience a plus!

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

- Possess exceptional customer service skills

- Skills required include use of knowledge of WORD, EXCEL, and use of standard office equipment (e.g., telephones, copiers, scanners, facsimiles, calculators).

- Ability to apply sound judgment in making decisions and to make decisions under pressure.

- Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
