The VNA Health Group, one of the nation's largest independent home health and hospice organizations, and a certified Best Place to Work (TM), seeks its first Talent Sourcer.
The Talent Sourcer is responsible for managing and prioritizing candidate generation in a fast-paced and highly competitive health care environment. Creates benchmarks, metrics and prioritizes activities to meet or exceed all customer service level agreements. Draws on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business to forge dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and HR business partners. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Expected to self-manage but will receive assistance from leadership and Director of Talent Acquisition on priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.
While this position will be 100% virtual, but we prefer this candidate to live in one of the VNA's three footprints: Ohio, New Jersey, or Florida, and be familiar with general geography, distances from one location to another, and highway systems.
Responsibilities:
The core responsibilities of the Talent Sourcer are:
Partners with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer / partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
Identifies highly talented candidates and sells passive candidates and new prospects on a career at the VNA Health Group. (VNAHG)
Utilizes all tools available for sourcing, including, but not limited to, Social Networking, Job Boards, Search Engines and Niche sites. Proactively seeks out new tools and proposes them for use at VNA Health Group.
Develops and executes a social networking, community, and university plans to deliver the VNAHG brand to candidates.
Develops activities to identify passive candidates, including building a third party strategy that utilizes professional groups, associations and networks. Talent Sourcer should be an active participant in these groups and networks.
Creates a strategic sourcing strategy to recruit passive candidates, evaluate candidates and determine candidates that align with the mission and values of the VNA Health Group.
Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management. Conduct initial screening interviews with a thorough panel of questions.
Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company. Implements new processes and refines standard processes to deliver the highest quality results.
Responsible for documenting, tracking and maintaining applicant records and status of engagements in the applicant tracking system as well as producing reports to track metrics such as fallout stages, candidate flow etc.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
