Overview
Amtrust Financial Services, a fast growing commercial insurance company, has an immediate need for a Talent Acquisition Specialist. The successful candidate will provide proactive recruitment and support for our service offices in the US. The successful candidate will work to provide hands-on full life cycle recruitment for internal client groups with high volume recruitment needs. Source, assess, and recruit candidates for openings at all levels. Develop and implement innovative and cost effective recruiting strategies for positions. Work with other members of the recruiting team on corporate wide recruitment projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle recruitment to include: job posting, active sourcing, interviewing, background checks, scheduling interviews, retreive feedback and offer negotiation and delivery
- Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research, sourcing and on-going relationship management
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Leader and the team to develop recruiting strategies to identify top talent
- Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level vacancies
- Establish strong partnerships with hiring teams to quickly assess business needs, determine candidate profile and launch a thorough hiring strategy
- Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum of 3 years full-cycle recruiting experience required, prefer recruiting agency environment
- Must be a persuasive story-teller, able to tell the exciting and accurate story of us
- Proficiency meeting goals in a metric driven environment
- Passionate about providing exceptional customer service to internal and external partners and clients
- Proven aptitude to adapt quickly to change of plans
- Possess a wide range of experience on current corporate recruiting policies, practices, and industry trends
- Strong knowledge of basic employment law, OFCCP guidelines and HR practices
- Able to assess staffing needs and develop creative and effective recruiting strategies to meet those needs
- Aptitude in assessing and relaying the intangible aspects of candidates accurately
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work with all levels of management
