Business Analysts work in a deadline-oriented, demanding environment as part of a growing team consisting of consulting and operations staff. The Business Analyst role is mid-level positions in PCG's consulting career ladder. The Business Analyst will specifically support their assigned Project Manager/Client Lead in all aspects of client engagement. This position focuses on technology, claims development, quality activities, and operational functions. The Business Analyst will also assist with business development efforts for the growing Medicaid service line in the Midsouth region. Responsibilities The Project Manager/Client Lead and Medicaid Business Line Lead will provide the new Business Analyst with a comprehensive, challenging training plan to help ensure within 120 days the new Business Analyst can confidentially execute all aspects of our Medicaid implementation and ongoing support services. After the implementation of a successful training plan, the Business Analyst can expect to play an active role in a wide range of work assignments including, but not limited to: + Providing daily client and project support either onsite, by phone/email, and/or via the project's task tracking software + Defining, documenting, and improving business processes + Preparing and presenting portions of written status reports + Assisting with the implementation of new projects and ongoing operational effort of existing projects + Conducting state and national policy and other research to support the project team and assist in preparing information briefs for both internal and client-facing use + Assisting in the development and maintenance of project budgets and preparation of client invoices + Supporting proposal development teams, including writing sections, coordinating efforts and preparing proposal submissions + Learning and performing tasks related to sales and marketing Qualifications Required Skills: + Commitment to exceptional client service and satisfaction + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while managing competing priorities + Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills + Dedication to accomplishing goals and challenges presented by clients and management + Strong attention to detail and documentation skills + Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio + Ability to adapt to changing project demands + Understanding of professional business atmosphere, including professional communication skills with clients and all levels in an organization Required Experience + A Bachelor's degree + A minimum of 3 years' experience in business analysis or a related field Differentiating Experience + State and local education agency experience + Medicaid claiming experience #LI-DM1 EEO Statement Public Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to celebrating diversity and intentionally creating a culture of inclusion.
