We are hiring Employment Support Professionals (ESP) that support individuals with barriers to employment to identify and take their steps on their career pathway to employment. ESP's assist the individuals we serve in: o Career Planning services (soft skills training, internship opportunities, services that explore the world of work and how that connects to their skills and interests) o Job Development services (resume building / development, interviewing skills, networking) o Job Coaching services (supporting our customers on the job, building natural supports on the job, building independence on the job). POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Education, Skills, and Traits

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• One-year of experience in employment services is preferred
• Leadership skills in conflict intervention, negotiation and decision-making
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to speak effectively and persuasively to participants, employers, and community groups
• Strong networking skills
• Must demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to work independently
• Must demonstrate exceptional training and organizational skills
• Must demonstrate reliability and positive attitude
• Must have the ability to represent individuals and agency in a professional manner

Required Licensure and Certifications

• Must submit to a BCII/FBI background check; Nurses Aid & Abuser Registry checks.
• Must be able to maintain American Red Cross or equivalent first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State of Ohio Driver's License; meet and maintain insurability standards to drive for company business.
• Must complete eight hours of approved DODD training upon hire.
• CESP Certification required or required to become certified within twelve months of hire.

Work Environment

This position operates in a variety of service settings to include vocational habilitation, transportation and community employers. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk and hear. Individual must be able to lift, bend, push and pull up to 50 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Individual must be able to work a flexible schedule including first shift, evenings, and/or weekends.
