The Business Analyst position will be a member of the CCG IT Global Commercial Applications team supporting our global Customer Service and Commercial initiatives. In accordance with the company's strategic objectives the Candidate will work with business partners and IT project delivery functions in the definition and design of optimized business processes enabled through the incorporation of technology solutions (Salesforce.com, Genesys, ICM).
You will participate in the definition of specific IT projects to support business/function plans and processes, leverage the companies PPI process improvement methodology and facilitate priority-setting with both IT and Business teams. Responsibilities also include interacting with IT delivery functions to assist in issue resolution and to remain apprised of project status keeping all affected business parties well informed.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Elicit business requirements through brainstorming sessions, interviewing business partners, observing business partners in their day to day role, and requirements gathering sessions. Guide business users to evaluate their processes in a detailed manner to capture all aspects affected by the project.
+ Work with IT delivery functions throughout the project delivery lifecycle to ensure all project goals and objectives are met, gathering, driving and documenting stakeholder requirements and product vision through the planning, analysis, development and testing phases
+ Translating stakeholder requirements into various documentation deliverables such as functional requirements or user stories, use cases, workflow/process diagrams, etc.
+ Analyzing business processes and systems, identifying inefficiencies and/or required functional enhancements, and documenting business processes and procedures
+ Providing inputs to testing plans for product and user acceptance test phases and create test scenarios for both phases
+ Providing deep functional expertise of system capabilities
+ Works closely, and develop good working relationships with the business
+ For smaller projects working closely with IT delivery teams to lead the execution of IT projects. Coordinate and schedule critical meetings for project execution with business owners and IT stakeholders.
**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:**
+ 3-5 years of experience in IT solution delivery team as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst and a Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
+ Good documentation skills including user stories, business requirments documents, functional requirements documents, process flow diagrams, etc.
+ Excellent analytical skills, can-do attitude, good interpersonal skills and knows when something is customer ready
+ Good project management and delivery skills
+ Excellent communicator and structured thinker
**Desired Skills:**
+ Experience working with Portfolio Managers, Commercial Operations and Technology Delivery teams
+ Experience working with Commercial applications like Salesforce.com, Genesys, Incentive Compensation Management, ERP systems, etc.
+ Previous experience working in Waterfall and Agile environment
+ Broad technical aptitude and strong desire to learn about new systems and business processes
