POSITION OVERVIEW

The Manager Marketing Finance is primarily responsible for managing budgeting and forecasting of all marketing expenses for the company. Additionally, the manager leads the accounting of the marketing expenses including reviewing journal entries and balance sheet accounts. The manager works closely with the marketing and finance teams to support the ExpressWay Forward strategy to X-ccelerate Sales and Profitability.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for all marketing expenses and loyalty program expenses
  • Identify risks and opportunities to marketing expenses to help proactively manage expectations and help drive investment decisions
  • Review all marketing accounting journal entries and balance sheet accounts
  • Support the marketing team as needed on financial requests related to the budget, forecasts, and accounting
  • Train and develop direct reports


REQURIED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years of experience in budgeting, accounting, and financial analysis with 1+ years of manager experience

  • Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to build a powerful team
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Emphasis on timeliness / accuracy / content of work flow
  • Ability to build cross-functional partnerships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
