Position: QA Technician I - Columbus
Location: Columbus Ohio Manufacturing Plant

With minimal guidance and supervision, performs a variety of tests, operates laboratory equipment and instruments. Responsible for strict adherence to company safety policies and procedures. Supports all CCC facilities and Outsourced - through testing of samples and reporting out results

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Conducts laboratory experiments and testing procedures. Accurately documents work and findings
  • Reports Results in various places - spreadsheets/ SAP
  • Retrieve, log in and track samples - to be shipped to third party, from other CCC plants and outsourced

Qualifications

  • Associates degree (A.A.), or equivalent from two-year college or technical school (Chemistry or chemical engineering, Science Field) is required.
  • 0-2 years experience working in a lab
  • 0-2 years hands-on mechanical aptitude
  • 0-2 years experience in operating lab instruments and equipment (operate the ICP and an ICP-MS)
  • Experience with activated carbon is preferred

Hours of work: Full-time position with hours generally Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and extended work hours may be required occasionally as job duties demand.
