The Senior Copywriter will create communications that solve specific business initiatives based on the creative brief or the communications plan and documentation. The Senior Copywriter will create compelling and effective communications that are fully aligned with Safelite's brand tone and voice in written and visual elements. They must be able to compose copy for various audiences in various communication methods and platforms in a grammatically consistent, clear, concise and an engaging style. A very strong attention to detail is required along with thorough communications and marketing knowledge, self-motivation, organization, flexibility and superb interpersonal skills.

Essential Activities:

• Develop and deliver strategically written communication that works harmoniously with the visual elements based on the business needs


• Lead concept sessions in collaboration with cross function project owners to solve marketing initiatives


• Finalize marketing and communications collateral for accuracy and proper use of branding


• Mentor newer team members talents bridged with Safelite's brand tone and voice


• Seek out emerging trends in creative and inform team members of possible alternative solutions


• Assist with managing external vendors that align with Safelite to deliver extraordinary copy to support marketing initiatives and customer experiences


• Seek out emerging trends in creative and inform team members of possible alternative solutions


• Other duties assigned by management

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience


• 3+ years' experience in Communications, Marketing or Advertising fields


• Copywriting proofreading experience with relentless attention for detail


• Adobe InDesign experience


• Strong verbal communication skills
