POSITION SUMMARY:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for key TA processes associated with onboarding staff and ensuring a high-quality employee experience including scheduling of candidates interviews, analytics, reports, and partnering with different HR functions. Provides backup support to the HR Coordinator position as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to utilizing a computer for typing and conducting research, analyzing data, and using a telephone to conduct reference checks and telephone screens.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Schedules all candidate interviews.
- Maintain information in human resources information system, including entry of new hire information on our ATS;
- Track and report on the status of requisitions;
- Review new hire paperwork for completion and accuracy; Coordinate with staff when corrections are necessary;
- Provide excellent customer service to all staff and candidates by responding in a timely and professional manner;
- Back up to HR Coordinator for all onboarding tasks.
- Prepare and send all itineraries and interviewing instructions to all candidates.
- Assist hiring managers with supplying all job descriptions and interview questions.
- Partner with HR recruiting to assist with hiring and selection activities, such as communicating with candidates, setting up interviews, maintaining recruiting records, and assisting recruiters as needed;
- Assist with all aspects of federal, state, and local employment, safety, and payroll law compliance;
- Participate in audits by preparing necessary information;
- Assist in updating job descriptions;
- Assist in the maintenance of credentialing and privileging files;
- Assist with monitoring and issuing continuing education credits;
- Other related TA duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must have at least two years experience in an office setting, previous work in a Human Resources and or Administrative field preferred.
- Previous experience maintaining a human resources information system is preferred.
- Must have sensitivity to, interest in, and competence in cultural differences, HIV/AIDS, minority health, sexual practices, chemical dependency, and a demonstrated competence in working with persons of color, and the gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender community.
- Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all organization staff. Competencies include excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills.
- Requires high-level computer expertise, including proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications; use of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
- Be flexible and innovative and excel in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-critical environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Possess excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and a variety of demands and work efficiently without constant supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Background and reference checks will be conducted. In accordance with Equitas Health's Drug-Free Workplace Policy, pre-employment drug testing will be administered. Hours may vary, including working some evenings and weekends based on workload.
