The Sr. Business Analyst conducts and manages outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. This postion will support short and long term operational/strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing, and maintaining operational information and models. Develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assessess and interprets business needs and requirements
• Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems
• Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
• Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
• Translates concepts into practice
• Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues
• Acts as a resource for business partners

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of process improvement experience utilizing Six Sigma and LEAN practices
• Advance knowledge of MS Excel for data analysis (pivot tables, macros ect.)
• Experience in defining and updating project schedules to track/measure progress of the requirements gathering process (e.g., status, milestones, tasks, deliverables)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Project Management experience or Certified PMP
• Familiarity with AGILE framework or certified SCRUM Master

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
