Our client is searching for a Technical Business Analyst for a full-time opportunity. This is a 100% remote/work from home position. This Technical BA is responsible for serving as the client relationship liaison between a business unit and the IT department; and work with IT service or project teams to collect, clarify and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design. This Technical Business Analyst will be assigned to the IT Infrastructure area and to assist with Office 365 and other cloud applications and will also assist business units that have requests for new application development and enhancements supporting corporate projects. Experience with infrastructure projects is a plus.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and user requirements
• Liaise between IT and business teams to drive projects forward
• Leverage understanding of business domain to provide subject matter expertise
• Work with test team and help prepare testing strategy
• Assist with how-to requirements for reporting documentation

Requirements of the Business Analyst:

• At least 3 years of BA experience supporting medium-sized initiatives
• Advanced knowledge of and experience with business modeling tools, such as process and workflow modeling
• Experienced and skilled of office productivity tools, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Clear and effective writer and documenter with experience writing technical documentation
• Knowledge of writing test cases and test plans
