We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some over the nation's biggest companies. Our client has a need for a Lab Technician. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Applicant must be eligible to work in the US for immediate opening. For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our end client.

Lab Technician

Job Responsibilities

Your specific duties as a Lab Technician will include:

• Compensation (Range): / hour $22 per hour
• Work to drive a zero injury, zero defect, and zero loss culture
• Actively participates in TPM deployment throughout the lab spaces
• Preparing samples for various analyses
• Working with various glass and raw material samples for the Composites and Insulation businesses
• Physical property testing on a variety of materials
• Working in hot environment to melt glass for testing
• Work with a variety of equipment to mix and melt glasses depending on project objectives
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure lab requests are complete in a timely manner
• Assist in high priority workstreams as a team
• Collaborate with internal customers to promote team-based problem solving
• Actively contribute to team troubleshooting to ensure the fulfillment of lab goals and objectives

Job Requirements

As a Lab Technician you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• High School Diploma or GED - Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
