**Description:**


Responsibilities

-Answering maintenance calls: electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues

-Making sure production line is running smoothly

-Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on food processing equipment

-Performing PMs on machines and equipment

-Ability to understand PLC's (Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens)

-PM work on facility, electric motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveyor systms, and production machines

-Ability to follow diagrams, sketches operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, engineering specifications, and troubleshooting malfunctions

-Setup production machinery and make operating adjustments as required

-Using precision measuring and testing instruments

-Remove defective parts by dismantling; using hoists, and and power tools

-Determines chances in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments

-Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools and gauges.

-Installing, maintaining operating and sroublesooting all types of A/C and D/C electrical equipment

-Replace electrical motors, relays, timers, sensors, PLCs, and associated electrical equipment

-Knowledge with ladder logic programming

-Welding experience is a plus

This person will be responsible for doing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and maintenance on the following machines: stuffers, omori wrapping machines, conveyor systems, stackers, food processing equipment, etc. The company is a sausage distributor/manufacturer so they will be working on machinery that moves food all day. The environment is wet and cold.

MUSTS: At least 5 years of experience as a maintenance tech

- Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience

- Ability to read mechanical/hydraulic blueprints and electrical drawings/schematics

- Troubleshooting malfunctions of all of the above systems

- Have experience with Preventative Maintenance

- Be able to replace electrical motors, relays, timers and all allied electrical equipment

Preferred: - experience working with PLC's (Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens)

- any fabricating or welding experience

- experience working in a USDA regulated environment
