Salary range: $35,500 - $38,500 annually
What You Will be Doing
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator will be responsible for implementing HR programs and services including, recruiting, new employee processing, benefits management, training, and development, compliance, records management, and employee relations. The HR Coordinator will perform these functions by utilizing strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, process improvement, and efficient use of time. This position is primarily working remotely but required to live in the State of Ohio.
- Acts as the main contact (consulting with HR Manager) for regional directors and managers, related to employee relations questions and corrective action processes. Consults with managers on HR policies and processes.
- Preside over disciplinary meetings and pre-disciplinary conferences. Regularly corresponds with directors and managers related to active performance improvement plans (PIP).
- Ensures all employee concerns are resolved on time, upholding the Boundless Fundamentals.
- Partners with directors and managers to determine staffing needs - both current and prospective. Posts vacant positions internally and externally and reviews all candidates for qualifications against the open roles. Assists with the recruiting process by identifying candidates, performing phone screens, scheduling on-site interviews, obtaining reference checks, and sending formal offer letters and new hire documentation.
- Converts recruits to working candidates by working closely with directors and managers to place new hires.
- Develops and plans prospecting strategies to pursue new avenues for recruiting candidates utilizing a variety of tools (i.e., email, telephone, social media) to establish relationships and expand applicant pool.
- Facilitates new hire process in conjunction with hiring managers and regional administrative staff. Completes and tracks required documentation, schedules pre-employment testing and collects results, and communicates with new staff and managers regarding timelines to start.
- Schedules and may assist with new hire orientation and other HR training programs for new and long-term employees. Responsible for ongoing training compliance for regional employees, including communication with staff and managers regarding alerts when training is necessary with expiration dates, available classes, and updating the HRIS system accurately.
- Responsible for working with the HR team to answer all internal and external HR inquiries and requests.
- Participates in the production and evaluation of reports, decisions, and results concerning established HR goals.
- Recommends new approaches to improve efficiency of the department and services performed continually. Assists with and may lead ongoing HR projects.
- Participates in the HR performance management process and administrative staff meetings. Attends other meetings and continuous learning seminars.
- Ensures compliance with all federal and local labor laws across a variety of initiatives. Keeps up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one to three years of related experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Must possess a high level of knowledge in full-cycle recruiting components, including sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, relationship management, and due diligence.
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Must have strong organizational skills and computer proficiency (MS Office).
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekend hours, as needed.
- Covid Vaccine required per Boundless policy.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience working in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, or other complex needs.
- Experience with HRIS software.
- HR accreditation.
