Requirements:

• 3 Years of Experience in the Cath Lab - Required

• 2+ Years of Leadership Experience - Required

• BSN or higher - Required

• Ohio license

• ACLS

• BLS

Responsibilities:

• Plans and administers directly, and through subordinate supervisory personnel, the effective management and delivery of diagnostic and treatment cath lab procedures in accordance with all hospital, system and regulatory agency standards.

• Ensures quality, financial, and customer service objectives are met.

• Develops, secures approval of and administers capital and operating budgets in order to meet agreed-upon departmental goals and objectives.Develops and implements appropriate methods to monitor adherence to budgets and resolve variances.

• Serves as technical resource to subordinates in resolving complex problems and in investigating and recommending corrective actions in response to incident reports and/or patient complaints.

• Reviews and approves recommendations for department equipment modifications, new supplies, and minor equipment purchases.

• Recommends and secures approval of major capital expense items initiating bidding process with vendors and upon approval, awarding bids.

• Fosters smoothly running cath lab function through timely and effective resolution of disruptions.

• Ensures the attainment of objectives through the selection, development, training and evaluation of cath lab staff.

• Ensures that all cath lab activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, federal, and governmental regulations and laws.

• Performs other related duties as required and directed.
