We have an opportunity for Warehouse, Packaging Associates and Shipping/Invoicing Associates in our Mentor, OH location.

Job functions Includes but is not limited to:

Packaging products to upstream and downstream processes to meet and exceed the customer's requirements and expectations. Involved in verification, assembly of bill of material components, packaging and providing timely delivery of communications, products and services to associates in inspection, material handling, production control, and components warehouses. Responsibility includes working in a team environment to deliver products, services and communications that are required by customers and to support continuous improvement in products and processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operate in a manufacturing flow system with the upstream processes and pull product through the packaging cell while minimizing delays and achieving quality levels for part number detail and product accuracy;

2. Verification of part number detail, product description and quantities noted;

3. In the quantity defined, collect components specified in the bill of materials and prepare labels, packaging and the products to be packed out;

4. Identify and organize the various single and kit products to be packaged and pack out as specified for warehouse storage and in preparation for shipment to customers;

5. Prepare documents for system transactions in order to update inventory records and to keep current, material movement through the system;

6. Other duties, tasks and responsibilities as requested.

. Requirements:

Typical Education:

High School diploma or GED required

1 year of manufacturing experience preferred

Required Job Function Competency:

· Must be able to communicated clearly in English

· Knowledgeable in pull system and kanban methods preferred

Preferred Job Function Competency:

· Broad knowledge of packaging methods and systems preferred

Position Physical Activity Requirements:

• Standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Ability to efficiently utilize computer equipment
• Capable to lift 50 lbs. periodically
• Sighted individual must be able to read in English.
• Ability to move throughout the building and manufacturing facility.
• Ability to process information received via written and verbal.
