We are looking for a HR Coordinator to join our facility in Montpelier OH this role will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department and managing the day-to-day administration of various HR policies and procedures primarily focused in Labor Relations functions. The position will carry out responsibilities including: labor relations, reporting, hourly recruitment activities, policy administration, training, and other HR processes.

Human Resources Coordinator Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for tracking and reporting weekly, Union overtime equalization
  2. Tracks attendance and leaves of absence; coordinates with the Leave Management team
  3. Serves as the lead HRIS administrator, maintaining and updating system changes including pay progressions, job bid and shift changes. Maintains employee and training records.
  4. Administers service awards and assists with company events job fairs, benefits related, retirees, luncheons, etc.
  5. Liaison to Supervisors and production employees, providing prompt follow up to HR related questions and issues

Human Resources Coordinator Qualifications

  1. Minimum Associates degree in business, human resources or related field plus three years related experience
  2. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office, HRIS and time keeping systems)
  3. Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and prompt follow through
  4. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  5. Possess high ethical standards; maintains confidentiality
  6. Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
