NOTE: There is one position available, however the position can be based at either our Milford, NH or New Albany, OH location.

Alene Candles is seeking a highly engaged, energetic, organized Talent Acquisition Manager with outstanding communication skills and an innate sense of process discipline. In this critical role, you will be the primary interface between hiring managers and your recruiting team (direct reports and outside recruiting firms). You will work with hiring managers to clearly document not only functional requirements and attributes for success; you will capture a clear understanding of the resume requirements for the successful candidate to "hit the ground running" in the open position. You will be responsible for recruiting effectiveness of advertised positions and you will not hesitate to apply your writing skills to shape the number and quality of candidate responses to advertised positions. You will develop and present recruiting metrics at weekly Leadership Team meetings and hold yourself (and your recruiting team) accountable for recruiting performance (targets and timing). You will develop and implement tactics to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of communications to all constituents in the recruiting process. In summary, you will get "the right person in the right seat" and apply "lessons learned" in the recruiting process to achieve that goal.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage recruiters at each location (NH & OH). Ensure all recruiting processes are being followed for all non-exempt, exempt and internal applicants. Travel to each location on a regular cadence to foster relationships with direct reports and hiring managers at both sites.
- Work closely with hiring managers to ensure job descriptions are well written and follow job description template.
- Creatively write job descriptions that appeal to applicants and set Alene Candles apart from other organizations.
- Build and maintain an updated job description library, readily available when needed.
- Conduct periodic interview training with managers and other interviewers in the organization to ensure compliance and integrity of our interviewing process.
- Work closely with hiring managers to fully understand the requirements of their position before starting the hiring process.
- Primary point of contact for agencies in both locations, conduct weekly meetings, communicate staffing needs and hold them accountable for their performance.
- Ability to vet staffing organizations that would partner well with us and make recommendations, negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with operations for workforce planning purposes and be adaptive to changes.
- Fully understand each non-exempt position by spending time on the production floor and working with the supervisors to identify what applicant will be best suited for the position.
- Implement creative recruiting solutions, utilizing out-of-the-box thinking to attract talent beyond our regular recruiting methods (job boards and agencies).
- Develop recruiting programs such as sign-on and referral bonuses.
- Become the "Subject Matter Expert" of market data, ensuring wages are competitive, tracking other organizations with similar positions, utilizing other data sources available. (Get Creative!)
- Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit, and compatibility.
- Set performance goals and metrics, timelines and formal tracking process to measure and manage process.
- Must work well with all levels of the organization.
- Strong coach, motivator, and manager to the recruiting staff.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of recruiting management experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience managing a recruiting team.
- Fast paced manufacturing experience a must.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
