Job Summary The sales representative is the sales and technical representative of the company. He looks after a defined customer portfolio within his sales region and is a technical product specialist for one or more product segments. He reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Information Regularly obtains knowledge of: The company\'s objective and policies The market changes, market trends and the competitor behavior/situation His sales results and sales targets The political and economic developments of its customers Planning Technical support and assistance to customers and prospects (technical support, OP support, product workshops, staff training) Active selling of the product portfolio (cross selling) to customers Acquisition of new customers Sales/administrative representation of the company to customers and prospects Proposing measures to optimize sales results, sales and marketing performance, market presence, internal processes Implementation / Control Periodic control and monitoring of target agreements concerning: Quantitative targets (sales, number of customer visits, customer training, etc.) Qualitative targets Consignment stock and loan instruments at customer site Complete, on-time reporting to the regional sales manager according to specifications Periodically informs the responsible Product Manager about competitive behavior Supports the marketing department in sales promotion activities Maintenance of the CRM system Participation in the regional meetings Participation in congresses Execution of special tasks according to the instructions of the Regional Sales Manager Expected Areas of Competence Methodological competence Goal orientation Organizational skills Ability to analyze Problem solving methodology Sales and negotiation skills Social competence Contact and communication skills Ability to work in a team presentation skills Conflict resolution skills Personal competence Initiative Willingness to learn Willingness to take responsibility Ability to work under pressure Ability to concentrate Ability to reflect Loyalty and entrepreneurial thinking and acting Technical competence Understanding of health economic and political contexts Good computer user skills Very good knowledge of the language in the assigned area of care German knowledge English skills of great advantage (oral and written) Education/Experience Requirements Basic commercial training or basic technical or medical training Depending on basic training, experience in the commercial or/and medical field Experience in sales Travel Requirements Up to 100% within support area
