Job Title: Manager of New Business Development
Reports to: Senior Vice President
Salary Range: $85-125K/annually (may be negotiable based on experience)
Field: Agricultural Chemicals (experience in this field is a plus)
Under the direction of the Senior Vice President, the Manager of New Business Development will seek out, define an manage projects that create new business opportunities for expansion of the potential of ISK active ingredients and products within the IBA territory. This employee will coordinate with IBA Regulatory, Marketing and Supply Chain groups to support the advancement of each new business project. In addition, this role will coordinate with ISK Biosciences Headquarters in Osaka, Japan, (ISK HQ) as needed to assure their understanding of each new business project and to confirm global strategy fit. This role will also work with cooperating companies, ISK Americas Legal, and ISKB HQ to establish necessary legal agreements for protection of the ISK Group's interest in new business cooperation agreements.
Specific duties and responsibilities include:
- Clarify ideas for new business development to establish a project concept and information needed to support project prioritization.
- Support selection of new distributors, negotiate deals/contracts on new products/projects, establish initial target business plans for project justification and prioritization.
- Establish action plans and time lines necessary to bring projects from current state to initial sales.
- Work with all necessary groups to communicate project schedules, to monitor against those schedules, to avoid delays where possible, and to mitigate consequences of delays.
- Maintain dialogue with ISKB HQ regarding IBA New Business Development projects and Global projects and strategies that might impact those IBA projects.
- Travel across IBA territory as required for new business project management.
Must authorized to work in the United States and willing and able to commute to the Concord, Ohio location on a daily basis.
Bachelor's Degree or higher is preferred, but will consider less based on experience.
Strong communication skills are required as this person will also be working closely members of our parent company in Osaka, Japan.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Ability to travel as needed approximately 25% is required.
Working knowledge of agricultural chemical industry is a plus.
