Job Description
This position is accountable for delivered gross margin improvement through optimization of the Supply Chain network. This role will be expected to gain a deep understanding of Supply Chain cost drivers and the development and implementation of analytical tools and best practices in forecasting, analyzing and explaining our costs and opportunities.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our Supply Chain network and costs in Americas North, including redeployment, delivery to customers, warehousing, returnable packaging and imports/exports
- Work with the Supply Chain and Finance teams to build effective tools to help analyze, forecast/budget and explain costs
- Work with the Sales and Finance teams to gain an understanding of customer and contractual requirements related to delivery, warehousing and inventory requirements to help with future contract negotiations impacts
- Work with the Procurement and Finance teams to help develop a better understanding of inflation and cost pressures on our Supply Chain network
- Partner closely with Director of Supply Chain to support ad-hoc analysis, forecasting and overall understanding of cost structure and impacts of inflation
- Work with global Finance and Procurement on inflation and TSC reporting
- Develop in-depth recommendations to reduce costs and better optimize our network
- Help with analysis and business cases related to the financial impact of changing inco-terms, new supply locations, and new contract deals
- Key contributor to the forecasting/budgeting process for Supply Chain network costs
- Helps to evaluate potential import/export opportunities and financial impact
- Supports Supply Chain and Finance in forecasting and optimizing inventory levels within the region by Category
- Presents to senior regional leadership on Supply Chain initiatives and recommendations

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain or Business Administration
- Advanced degree in Finance, Statistics or Business highly desirable
- Relevant experience as a member of business teams with proven ability to successfully interact with high levels of the organization
- Proven track record with 5-10 years of relevant experience in business analysis, finance or product management
- Very strong analytical skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills with experience working with and presenting to leadership
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
- Knowledge of operations or supply chain (e.g. experience as a former plant controller or working in supply chain role)
- Experience leading critical supply chain projects or building business cases for improved financial results a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple levels in the organization
