Job Description
Will involve time on the factory floor to collect samples and communicate with operators.
May involve driving a scooter.
May require occasional travel.
May require contact with outside resources.
Check incoming, in process and outgoing parts and rubber to maintain traceability of parts and material provided to the lab for testing.
Communicate with customers and associates regarding results and problems, including resolutions.
Employee must be able to perform the following:
Able to learn and run all assigned testing equipment as needed.
Able to learn and perform all tasks associated with the assigned collection and testing of rubber as described in the Quality Standard Cards and Testing Control Cards
PPE includes: safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, cut resistant gloves/sleeves, other gloves as needed, face coverings
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Ability to speak and understand English
Highschool Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
Ability to use or learn common computer programs, i.e. Microsoft Office, SAP, QSI, etc.
Ability to use critical thinking to evaluate test results as typical or atypical.
Knowledge of or the ability to learn all computer systems required to track test results.
Ability to understand, operate and troubleshoot testing equipment as needed.
Ability to recognize test results that need to be brought to the attention of a compounder or engineer
