Job Summary

The IT Technical Business Analysts is responsible for working with end users, functional managers, project teams, and integration teams to recommend and implement best practices for data management and systems configuration that improve the utilization of our ERP software. This role performs ETL work and manages the backend data as well as the system level configuration of our ERP.

Responsibilities

IT Technical Analysis (40%)

• Providing SQL expertise, propose design recommendations and optimization
• Design and execute ETL activities for system migrations.
• Supporting data analysis inquiries from business partners and presenting results
• Identifies database and reporting requirements by interviewing customers; analyzing department applications and operations; evaluating existing systems.
• Assists with installing revised or new systems by proposing specifications and flowcharts; recommending optimum access techniques; coordinating installation requirements.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

ERP System Management (40%)

• Work on ERP related projects including new implementations, enhancements, integrations, support, and other special projects.
• Manage the configuration of the ERP system.
• Analyze and troubleshoot the ERP functional issues and manage communications with the vendor including the ability to handle escalated issues.
• Collaborate on implementing updates to the systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security.
• Help manage risks and dependencies.

Training and Support (10%)

• Train and support other team members in implementing and supporting the end users.
• Create and maintain ERP documentation and manuals.

Other Duties (10%)

• Be a committed team player that challenges and supports peers.
• Maintain positive working relationships with peers, internal clients and partners.
• Create and maintain, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project schedules, plans, summaries and updates
• Continual growth in knowledge of our systems and organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelors' degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• 3+ years of Business Analyst experience
• 3+ years of SQL experience.
• Experience with ERP preferred.
• Strong background utilizing advanced Excel techniques and other Microsoft Office programs.
• Data and detail oriented, both verbally and written, with the ability to speak both business process and technical process based on whom you are working with.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
• Must be able to function well in a high performance and team driven environment.
• Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic Project Management skills that demonstrate your ability to build, manage and execute upon a plan.
• Ability to work within a global organization and flex with the need to work in multiple time zones.
