We currently have an opening for an Accounting Specialist at our Streetsboro, Ohio facility. This facility manufactures corrugated packaging products for local and national customers.

SUMMARY

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for playing a lead role in a variety of non-routine clerical/accounting functions, in accordance with standard procedures. Duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity. Assignments are broad in nature and usually require originality and ingenuity. Applies advanced skills.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Perform daily financial activities of the plant.
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities and reports.
* Enters daily production hours into Payroll System, balances hours and maintains accuracy.
* Assist in other accounting duties such as reconciling of bank accounts, balancing books, and processing payments.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

* Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, or 5+ years of experience
* Fluent computer skills; Microsoft Office products inclusive of Excel
