The primaryfunctions of this position are to implement and execute a successful enrollmentstrategy for the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and to provideadvising to Pharmacy students on the Main Campus and Health Science Campus. TheDirector will engage institutional commitment at all levels while managingrecruitment efforts and maintaining the integrity of transfer articulation andstudent records.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience/Licensing
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of a master's degree withat least 5 years full-time advising experience in a professional college oruniversity setting recommended.
- A master's degree in College Student Personnel, Counseling, or a relatedfield is preferred.
Communication & Other skills
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to work as a member of a professional staff team
Working Conditions:
Works in a professional office environment with possible high stress levels. Job includes lifting 25-50 lbs on occasion. There are no extreme or unusual working conditions, such as exposure to hot or cold temperatures, noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, heavy lifting, climbing, cramped areas. Some evening and weekend work hours are required.
