Employee Benefits Account Executive

In this dynamic position, you will possess a high degree of Employee Benefits Insurance product knowledge and technical expertise. The selected individual will exercise judgment and act independently to provide service to an assigned book of business, in addition to supporting new business activity for our Sales Risk Advisors. You will need to prioritize and respond quickly in a fast paced environment. You will work independently while serving middle market to large commercial accounts and have a significant volume of daily account activity. You will act as the lead on assigned house accounts and provide assistance in the placement of new and renewal business.

Responsibilities in this role include, but, are not limited to:

* Representing Huntington Insurance as a product expert by staying current with industry changes, trends and opportunities.
* Maintaining and developing product line knowledge through educational opportunities.
* Acting as a resource and participant in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Adhering to established agency service standards and timelines.
* Utilizing agency technology and software applications including agency management and document management systems, workflows and procedures as well as industry software programs, to full capabilities.
* Responding to internal and external client related inquiries in a timely manner.
* Taking ownership to provide successful problem resolution, paying close attention to details.
* Coordinating and communicating client service needs, directing and assisting team members as needed.
* Requesting, reviewing and processing policy coverage changes and endorsements to carriers.
* Preparing and reviewing documents including proposals, on line quotes, marketing submissions, spreadsheet analysis and premium allocations, insurance documents and other client presentation materials.
* Providing guidance and acting as a role model & mentor to other team members, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

A minimum of seven years, Commercial Insurance Agency Client Servicing and/or Commercial Underwriting experience.

Current, in-force Resident Life and Health license.

High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred

Sagitta and Image Right systems experience preferred

Insurance designation preferred (CIC, CPCU, CISR, CRM)

Proven track record of successful insurance customer service and marketing experience for middle market to large market clients.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency using MS Office products specifically MS Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
