Remote Position
Temporary Recruiter position to support start up Independent Living community in Gahanna, OH.
Initial assignment 4-5 months with possibility of permanent.
PURPOSE According to the prescribed policies and procedures including all applicable state, federal and local regulations and under the general supervision of the Director of Recruiting assumes the responsibility for staffing all departments and coordinates all efforts related to recruitment process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Consistently maintains appropriate volume of candidates through cold calling, networking, referrals from exiting employees, open houses, internet postings etc.
Recruit, interview and directly hire all positions according to policy.
Establish and maintain the direct call program.
Maintains status of open positions and candidates, including internal candidates through applicant tracking system.
Establish contacts within community, colleges, technical and nursing schools, etc for speaking engagements, career fairs for potential employees.
Responsible for the pre-employment process ensuring all new hire information is complete and forwarded to the Corporate Office in a timely manner.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Generates recruiting reports as requested.
Conducts quarterly wage surveys.
Assists with training other staff and coordinates efforts regarding the cold calling program.
Assists with direct mailings for open positions.
Keeping abreast of current federal, state and other regulatory changes and adapts to facility policies and procedures.
EXPECTATIONS Demonstrates and maintains a positive, professional manner, manages time efficiently and effectively, provides leadership as a role model to promote a team approach, collaborates and participates in policy creation and appropriate problem solving methods.

Must adhere to all policies, procedures, terms and conditions set forth in the National Church Residences' Employee Information Guide (EIG), the Code of Conduct, as well as any facility handbook, including but not limited to, corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state, local regulations and laws.
With respect to Resident Rights, ensures all care is provided with respect and dignity for the residents/clients, their families and the staff. Reports all complaints made by residents/clients and/or families to the appropriate supervisors, reports all allegations of abuse, misappropriation of funds/resident property and/or any other corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state and local regulations and laws.
Completes all annual education requirements timely, including but not limited to Compliance, Privacy, Security and HIPAA training and exhibits behavior as set forth by the Code of Conduct in the performance of their duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATION SHEET- Recruiter
Education: Associate's degree or certified in a relevant field.
Experience: Two to four years of recruiting experience, preferably in a health care setting.
Mental: Must have good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
Skills: Must have working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and World Wide Web.
Licensure: n/a
Vision: Normal: Consistent with standard workflow.

Working Conditions: Good working conditions, some distractions due to working in facilities, exposure to some disagreeable conditions such as noise, odors, illness, infection and physical contact with disruptive residents.
