Position Summary

For more than 30 years, our Management Development Associate program has developed our future leaders. This program allows you to embark on a personal and professional development experience a classroom can't offer.

Joining Nestlé Purina as an Associate Manufacturing Excellence Manager in the Management Development Program means you're joining our factory family at a management level to play a key role in training, coaching, and assessing factory personnel on focused improvement. The role also handles traditional Industrial Performance / Industrial Engineering responsibilities and supports continuous improvement activities in the factory. Following from there, you'll experience a unique breadth of work within your functional area and focus on becoming a domain expert at the factory you're assigned to.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES

Responsible for managing industrial performance activities in the factory, including Nestle manufacturing performance metrics.
Continuous improvement project support and leadership, including the delegated supervision of employees allocated to those assignments.
Responsible for leading the Focused Improvement pillar within the factory
Perform regular focused improvement assessment to ensure the correct application of methods, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
Support and direct coaching for all Nestle Continuous Excellence pillars to drive world class manufacturing

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):

Must be open to relocation to one or more of our 23 production facilities across the U.S.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Management, or related field
3+ years of continuous improvement experience or process improvement experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment
