This position willprovideadministrative support for FAA AFS-420 Flight Procedures and Airspace grouplocated in Oklahoma City, OK. This position is temporarily 100% remote, and will eventually be approximately 50% hybrid position with some work performed onsite at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will provide administrative support at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), performing office-oriented, clerical, and coordinating functions, including telephone answering, desk staffing, data entry, regular cyclical report generation and distribution, and pre-defined task execution. Duties will include the following:

* Provide daily branch manager and front office support, which may include updating calendars, requesting conference rooms, scheduling meetings, as well as other daily administrative support duties
* Answer phones for the branch (using soft phone) and coordinate calls from the public, and directing calls and messages as required.
* Support meetings (including virtual meetings in Teams and/or Zoom); recording, submitting minutes and action items and providing briefing updates to executives
* Assist with drafting and tracking correspondence and memorandum on behalf of the FAA AFS-400 Program Office and AFS-420 sections
* Use of FAA formatting and style writing guides to assure proper formatting and grammar for correspondence.
* Schedule and arrange travel for executives using Government software (E2)
* Update branch SharePoint sites with news, documents and current data and use SharePoint forms as needed to make requests and track information, by updating forms used in workflow processes
* Assist with timesheet review and coordination for Branch Manager Approval, for the branch using CASTLE time keeping software.
* Provide backup support for other admins as needed
